Getting some hands on time with the LG G Watch R
The LG G Watch R appears with a full circular display, unlike the Moto 360’s display which is missing the lower portion of the screen. It has a 1.3-inch (diameter) P-OLED, 320 x 320 (245 PPI) display, providing a bright and colorful display which was pretty decent for use indoors.

The device comes with a PPG heart-rate sensor and measures 46.4 x 53.6 x 11.1mm that might be a little clunky for some. You can use any standard 22mm watch strap on the device, which means that it can be customised to suit different people’s tastes.
It is waterproof but comes with a built in mic that allows you to use the Google Now functionality with voice control. It can connect to your smartphone over Bluetooth 4.0.
To save battery, the smartwatch switches to an “Ambient Mode” after five seconds of no interaction from the user. The watch display changes to a black face with white arms, reducing its power draw from drawing 130mW to 13mW to squeeze out as much use from the 410mAh battery as possible.
It will launch in October, but LG has not provided a price on the device yet, but the company suggests that it will sell for a higher price point as compared to the original LG G Watch.
